One of my art idols, right here, I’ve admired this artist for a long time. I fell in love with the first pieces of his Angelarium (HERE on his DA page) because of the unique designs and the colouring, and followed his progress for years after. The wonderful thing about him is that he’s still getting better. Many of my early artistic influences stayed the same way even when my views and taste evolved, so I abandoned them, moved on. Mohrbacher wasn’t one of those and it was inspiring to follow his progress.
While his influence doesn’t show in my art because it didn’t fit me and my art style (and skill), I still learned a lot from his works, his videos and tutorials. His art is still interesting, he’s always far ahead and getting better and that motivates me to work harder.
And to illustrate the progress I saw over the years, let me show it. Do you see the grey image in the middle of the third row? That’s the author’s rendition of angel Af.
